A Mardi Gras Parade in Birmingham is being planned for Tuesday February 21st, 2012!

The Parade will start at 8 PM by Mellow Mushroom and

Daves, near 5 PTS and will end up just past Rocky's Pizza,

close to UAB. 

Last years Birmingham Mardi Gras Parade was a success and the previous official Birmingham Mardi Gras Parade was in 1901!

FEB 21, 2012: We will be accepting 'walk up' participants on site from 7:20 - 7:45 PM (line-up in the parking lot behind Tom & Jerrys Chevron on Highland, across from the synagogue).
$5 for walkers, $12 for floats, $10 for walking groups/bands - all to cover city permit fees.
